CAROB S.A. was founded in 1976 on the island of Mallorca with the purpose of manufacturing and distributing Locust Bean Gum.
In 1996, the new plant was opened in Marratxí with the aim of offering carob gum to the highest quality and competitiveness in the market.
In 2015, we obtained the FSSC 22000 Food Safety Certification, in order to ensure we remain fully compliant with the Food Safety standards.
Our product is distributed worldwide.
Our strategic warehouse in Baltimore (United States) has enabled us to increase our distribution network and improve our delivery commitments across the USA.
Our factory
Our new facilities, located in Marratxi, Mallorca, were opened in 1996. This allowed us to offer our customers a quality commitment as well as a full control in all production phases.
