At CAROB we want to make public that we have a brand ambassador for our work with the locust bean gum. The famous cook and prestigious Majorcan chef Miquel Calent started from May a collaboration with our company. Calent, will prepare and share a simple, affordable and varied recipe book with a common aspect: make use of the locust bean gum, our star product exported all over the world. We want the versatility of this 100% natural product to be known in Mallorca.
Our locust bean gum is obtained from a careful sequential phase, where the carob seeds are peeled and crushed with our own process. The carob tree is consubstantial to our culture and Mediterranean essence, a tree resistant to drought, free of pesticides and the use of fertilizers. As a consequence, our raw material is of the highest quality, which results in a final product, locust bean gum, also of the highest quality.
In order to value local production, the importance of the countryside, and the carob sector, we want the best, like chef Miquel Calent, to observe and learn how to use this treasure in our kitchen, in thousands of recipes, healthy and natural.
